艾莉是皇冠博彩犯罪学和刑事司法系的博士研究生，预计毕业日期为2026年夏天。 She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Psychology from Marquette University and a 文学硕士 in Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri – Saint 路易. 她的研究集中在法院、司法决策、性别、LGBTQ+社区，以及在法律程序中使用虚拟技术。 Ellie’s dissertation, “ 双重决策：民事保护令案件中的性别与监护权评估” integrates qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze how gendered stereotypes surrounding victimhood and parenthood shape judicial outcomes in civil protection order cases. She has published in the 犯罪与司法杂志 and has coauthored a report for the MacArthur Foundation’s Safety and Justice Challenge. Ellie currently serves as a research consultant for Ventura County, California, under the state’s Racial Justice Act.
